Southampton will be looking to pile more misery on relegated Aston Villa when they two teams square off at Villa Park on Saturday.
Villa's relegation was confirmed last weekend with a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United, which left them 15 points adrift of safety with just four games left to play.
The west Midlands outfit have not won a match in the Premier League since beating fellow strugglers Norwich 2-0 on February 2 and they are hoping to prevent a 10th straight loss this weekend.
The Saints, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last two league outings and have only lost one in six – a 1-0 reverse at Leicester earlier this month.
They came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw with Everton last time out, which saw Ronald Koeman's side preserve eighth spot in the standings.
In team news, the hosts will hand late fitness checks to Kieran Richardson and Ciaran Clark, who both picked up knocks at Old Trafford.
Otherwise, Villa caretaker boss Eric Black has no other injuries or suspensions to deal with.
The visitors will have Jose Fonte and Victor Wanyama available after the duo recovered from head and rib injuries respectively.
However, Koeman remains without Charlie Austin and Florin Gardos (both knee).
