Suarez: Revived Barca back on track

Following Barcelona's crushing defeat of Deportivo La Coruna on Wednesday, Luis Suarez believes his team are back on track for the domestic title.

Barca silenced their critics in the most emphatic way possible by thrashing Depor and keeping a clean sheet in the process.

After delivering what is certain to be one of the best La Liga performances of his career, Suarez is confident the Catalans have returned to their best and will emerge as the winners of what is turning into a fascinating title race.

"We needed that victory," he was quoted as saying by AFP. "We came off the back of many games suffering and, as we are human, the defeats hurt."

Luis Enrique's side failed to notch up a win in their previous four league matches in a run that also saw them knocked out of the Champions League by title rivals Atletico Madrid.

"It is in our hands and if we win all our games what the others do doesn't bother us. The normal thing would be that none of us slip up," Suarez added.

"We are the leaders and we are convinced we are going to win it. We aren't contemplating anything other than winning."
