AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen admits he's loving every moment of his debut campaign in the Eredivisie this season.
The 21-year-old scored four goals during AZ's 5-1 win over PEC Zwolle at the weekend, which took his season tally to 25 goals – three more than PSV's Luuk De jong as the race for the Eredisie golden boot hots up.
"I'm happy and I'm enjoying every minute I'm on the field with AZ. We did it all together, the work ethic was amazing," he told RTV Noord Holland.
"It was a good performance and a good three points. And it's nice that I got four [goals]."
AZ currently occupy fourth spot in the league standings, level on points and goal difference with FC Utrecht, and the former Almere City player concedes it's in their own hands to finish the season strongly as they target European football.
"It fluctuates up and down. It is up to us to hold on to fourth place. I think we should focus on that fourth spot and hope Feyenoord [in third place] will win the [KNVB] cup," he added.
