Borussia Dortmund 'wonder kid' Christian Pulisic could not hide his delight after scoring his first professional goal during their 3-0 win over Hamburger SV on Sunday.
Thomas Tuchel's side swept aside their domestic rivals in a professional fashion after their disappointing Europa league exit at the hands of Liverpool in midweek, and the performance of Pulisic will no doubt excite Die Borussen fans.
The 17-year-old midfielder gave his side a first-half lead after a clever set-piece routine with Matts Hummels, and he admits he can't put the feeling into words.
"I'm absolutely delighted, it's a very good feeling to score your first competitive goal. Simply outstanding," the United States international told Sky Sports.
"We took a short corner and Mats' pass was perfect. I drilled it inside the near post, it was super. Indescribable. I'm speechless, I can hardly explain it.
"For Hamburg it was obviously then extremely difficult to be down to nine men. But I think that we also did well and carried out our moves well at the end."
