Klopp: I have no problems with Ibe

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed rumours of a fall-out between himself and winger Jordon Ibe, following his side's 2-1 Premier League victory over AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.

Ibe made his first start in over two months for the Reds against Bournemouth alongside Sheyi Ojo, Kevin Stewrt, Connor Randall and goalkeeper Danny Ward, who were all given a rare run in the starting line-up as the former Borussia Dortmund mentor rested some of his regular starters.

The 20-year-old was instrumental in Liverpool's second goal just moments before half-time, as his inswinging free-kick found Daniel Sturridge, who headed home and took the visitors to just nine points off a top-four finish.

"I heard from somewhere that Jordon has some problems with me or something?" Klopp said. "Absolutely not.

"Only a few young players can come up, and sometimes they are in the squad, sometimes not.

"He's still a brilliant, big, big talent which is very good for English football.

"He did well today with the pass for the first goal, and the cross for the second. I was very happy."

Liverpool host 11th-placed Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Wednesday night.
