Garcia wants Roma improvement

Rudi Garcia has called for improvement from his inconsistent Roma side in a bid to move up the Serie A standings following their first loss of the season.

The Giallorossi fell to a 2-1 defeat to Sampdoria in midweek following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Sassuolo at the weekend.

Roma are currently seven points adrift of league leaders Internazionale in ninth and Garcia wants his players to cut out individual errors and get back to winning ways.

"All we're interested in is getting the win," Garcia told the club's official website ahead of his side's clash against Carpi on Saturday.

"We've taken one point from a possible six in our last two matches, so we absolutely have to improve.

"We didn't play well against Frosinone and won [2-0], yet against Sampdoria we took the match to them and ended up missing out on the three points.

"We need to repeat the performance we showed against Samp but cut out the individual errors."
