Bayern München maintained their 100 per cent record as they eased past Mainz 05 for a 3-0 win at the Coface Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Lewandowski nets 100th Bundesliga goal
The Pole's form continues with brace
Muto wasteful in front of goal
Coman adds a third to seal result
Despite Bayern's dominance in the opening half, the two sides went into the break level after Thomas Muller fired a penalty over the crossbar with 19 minutes on the clock.
They did get the breakthrough just five minutes after the restart when Robert Lewandowski netted his 100th Bundesliga goal with a deft header.
Lewandowski added a second with an easy finish on 63 minutes, before Coman added the third with a similarly simple finish five minutes later to secure the result.
Bayern München absolutely dominated the early exchanges of the games as they kept nearly 80 per cent possession in the opening 10 minutes.
And they were gifted a wonderful chance to take the lead on 19 minutes when Pablo de Blasis tripped David Alaba in the area for a clear penalty.
Thomas Muller stepped up to take the spot-kick, but made a hash of his attempt as he skied his side-footed effort well over the crossbar, much to the delight of the home supporters.
At the other end, Yoshinori Muto really should have scored as he beat his marker to the ball, but smashed his effort from 12-yards just wide of the post.
The Bavarians continued to press for the opener and were oh so nearly ahead in the 33rd minute as Douglas Costa forced a magnificent save from Loris Karius with a stinging effort from the edge of the box.
And Lewandowski continued his rich goalscoring form five minutes into the second half, rising highest in the box to nod home Kingsley Coman's cross.
Lewandowski then grabbed his second of the afternoon with a rather simple finish from close range after some terrific build up play.
Coman then added his name to the scoresheet, tapping home after a deadly ball across the face of goal from Costa.
The hosts came close once again on 75 minutes as Christian Clemens cracked a fierce effort off the crossbar with Manuel Neuer beaten, before Muto too fired wide with a header.
Lewandowski was gifted a great opportunity to secure the hat-trick but opted to play in Mario Gotze, who teed up the striker once more, only for the Mainz defence to pounce on the ball and clear the danger.
