Australia could have captain Mile Jedinak available to face Jordan in their 2018 FIFA World Cup/2019 AFC Asian Cup joint qualifier at the Sydney Football Stadium on Tuesday.
In Thursday night’s 7-0 thumping of Tajikistan, Jedinak was substituted at half-time suffering from a minor hamstring strain but after resting from full training over the weekend he could be available for selection depending on how things go at Monday night’s final training session.

In the pre-match press conference, Jedinak said he would do everything possible to be available to play against Jordan.
“It’s been hard to sit out the last couple of days not being involved but like I said, I’ll do everything I can today and that’s what we’ve been doing in the last few days,” quipped the veteran.
“I’ll do everything I can today to be ready tomorrow.”
