Winger Gareth Bale and captain Sergio Ramos look set to make their respective returns from injury for Real Madrid against city rivals Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
The pair have not played for Los Blancos since the Champions League win against Shakhtar Donetsk last month, in which Bale limped off with a calf complaint and Ramos dislocated his shoulder.
Real's results have not suffered too much in the absence of the duo, with the club claiming three wins and a draw since they were injured, but the club's goal-threat has dropped off noticeably without Bale.
The two matches before Los Merengues' 4-0 thrashing of Shakhtar included a 6-0 win over Espanyol and a 5-0 victory against Real Betis, but Real have only scored a total of five goals in the four games.
Head coach Rafa Benitez revealed in the pre-match press conference the duo would be available to play against Diego Simeone's side in El Derbi Madrileno.
"Bale and Ramos can play. I talked to them. They are fine, excited and with desire," he told reporters.
