Ramsey targets more of the same

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has hailed the team's hard work in their 3-0 win over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners fired themselves into a three-goal lead in the first 20 minutes with a brace from Alexis Sanchez and another from Mesut Ozil to claim a massive win over the Red Devils.

"Our main aim was to press high up and win the ball back in dangerous areas," Ramsey said. "We knew we could capitalise on that and we did it.

"The work ethic of the whole team was brilliant today and that's what we need to keep doing throughout the whole season to be successful.

"Hopefully now at home we can make a bit of a run and keep this up. The work-rate we showed today is what we have got to show week in, week out."

The result moves Arsenal above United and up to second in the Premier League standings, and the Welshman believes they are now well placed to challenge for the title.

"Yes, I think we are in a good position," Ramsey added. "We are on a good run in the league, hopefully we can keep that up. It's always nice to beat Manchester United and we will enjoy this win tonight."
