Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc says he isn't surprised after Zlatan Ibrahimovic became the club's all-time leading scorer, describing the Swede as 'a great player.'
The enigmatic striker netted two penalties for Les Parisiens on Sunday, helping them defeat bitter rivals Marseille 2-1 at the Parc des Princes and breaking former Portugal international Pauleta's record of 110 goals.
The win sees Les Parisiens extend their lead at the top of the table to five points and Blanc believes it is typical of the quality Ibrahimovic has shown throughout his career that it only took him 133 games to achieve the feat
"This is a very good player, a great player," Blanc told French publication Canal. "You just have to see the number of goals he scores. These are non-typical players, with non-typical statistics.
"It does not surprise me that he has managed to break this record in such a short time."
