Former Paris Saint-Germain striker Pedro Pauleta believes Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho would be perfect additions for his old club to make.
The forward's goal-scoring record at PSG was overtaken by Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the weekend and he admitted he felt flattered that his records were being broken by such good players.
"Every record is made to broken but now, eight years later, I'm sincerely very happy that Ibra is my successor. I'm proud of that fact. It's also symbolic for me and for the club that the record fall against Marseille," he said on the PSG website.
"Last year, Ronaldo also stole one of my records – for goals scored for Portugal. Being dethroned by players like these is really quite flattering."
The retired attacker believes his compatriot would be an excellent addition for the French champions.
"Cristiano and Mourinho at PSG – that would be a good idea," he told RTL. "PSG would be an ideal team for Ronaldo to spend two or three seasons at.
"PSG would be delighted to have a player of his quality. And it would be great for the Portuguese in Paris."
When asked who he would choose between Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo if he could only have one of them, Pauleta chose his countryman.
"I'd stick with Cristiano Ronaldo – he's the captain of Portugal, my homeland."
