Aston Villa manager Remi Garde is looking to emulate Leicester City and see his team fight their way out of the relegation zone.
Villa have been rock-bottom of the Premier League standings for most of the season, and are currently nine points adrift of safety heading into the final nine games of the season.
Current league leaders Leicester were in a similar position last season until a string of good results in the closing months of the campaign saw them miraculously avoid the drop.
"If you look at Leicester's case last season, they started a run of seven wins, one draw and one defeat," he said. "Why couldn't we do that?
"Yes we have just shown poor football at times in previous games. But in football you never know how things can go. I still strongly believe we can win many games before the end of the season."
If Villa are to retain their top-flight credentials they need to start winning soon, but face a tough match against title-chasing Tottenham at Villa Park on Sunday.
