Juventus striker Paulo Dybala was delighted to see his strike secure three points for Juventus in their 1-0 win over Sassuolo at Juventus Stadium on Friday.
The Argentine striker found the net in the 36th minute in Turin to ensure that the Bianconeri will remain top of the Serie A standings at the end of the weekend.
"Sassuolo are showing everyone just how good they are at the moment," he said. "They have an excellent coach and play very good football. We tailed off a bit in the second half and allowed them back into the tie but held on for a massive three points."
Juve have now gone undefeated in their last 19 Serie A matches, and the former Palermo striker highlighted the contrast between their position now and when they played Sassuolo back in November, immediately prior to their current streak.
"After our loss [against Sassuolo] in Reggio Emilia in October, no one gave us a chance of competing for the title," he added, referring to the 1-0 defeat.
"Everyone had written us off and now here we are. We will have to wait and see what happens in the remaining fixtures this weekend but we will still be top, in a cup final and with a great test against Bayern Munich just around the corner."
