Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Burki believes Saturday's goalless draw against Bayern Munchen shows they can go toe to toe with their much-fancied Bundesliga rivals.
The two German giants could not be separated at the Westfalenstadion, with the result leaving Dortmund still five points adrift of the top-flight leaders, with nine games remaining this season.
Burki was especially impressive during this weekend's encounter, leaving the 25-year-old confident of his side's abilities as they enter the final stretch of the campaign.
"I've got mixed feelings really," he said after the game. "I should've done better on a couple of occasions but I'm glad I made the reflex save against Arturo Vidal.
"We'll analyse what we did wrong and learn from it. I'm glad we kept a clean sheet in the end.
"We showed we can compete on an even-footing with them. I'm very proud of this team."
