Manchester City v Aston Villa

Manchester City will be desperate to get back to winning ways to reignite their title challenge when they welcome Newcastle United to the Etihad in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Citizens have lost their last three league games in a row and are in danger of falling out of the top four if they drop more points this weekend.

The 3-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool in midweek allowed rivals Manchester United to draw level on points with City, but the Sky Blues are hanging on to fourth on goal difference.

They have also fallen 10 points behind Leicester City at the top of the Premier League table and, with just 10 games of the season remaining, need to rediscover their best form fast if they are to stand any chance of challenging the Foxes for the title.

Yaya Toure faces a late fitness test on a foot injury, while Kevin De Bruyne, Fabian Delph and Samir Nasri are only expected to return to action next month.

Aston Villa are going to have to produce something completely different to what they have shown this season if they hope to take anything out of the match against City.

The Villains have only won two Premier League matches this season and are currently on a run of three straight defeats, including a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool in the middle of February.

However, if they are to retain their top flight status for next season they need to start getting results soon as the fixture list does not get any easier for them with matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea among their next four league games.

Carlos Sanchez (hamstring) and Libor Kozak (ankle) are only expected back next week, while Adama Traore faces a late fitness test.
