Chelsea are looking to continue their Premier League revival by drawing level on points with next opponents Stoke City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues are now 12 matches unbeaten, including wins in each of their last three matches, to claw their way back into the top half of the Premier League standings, and they are now looking for revenge for the 1-0 defeat suffered on their visit to the Britannia Stadium in November.
Stoke have also won their last three in a row against Bournemouth, Aston Villa, and Newcastle to put an earlier run of three straight league defeats firmly behind them.
Unlike their opponents, the Potters don’t have a Champions League clash against PSG coming up in midweek, and will be hoping that the French side’s impending visit to London will distract the reigning champions.
Chelsea will expect Belgian winger Eden Hazard to shake off a knock in time to feature, while captain John Terry (hamstring) will face a late fitness test. However, wingers Kenedy (groin/pelvis) and Pedro (hamstring) are expected to miss out, along with Kurt Zouma (anterior cruciate ligament) and Radamel Falcao (groin strain).
Stoke are expecting the return of defender Geoff Cameron (ankle), but will be without five first team regulars in Phil Bardsley (calf/shin), Glen Johnson (knee), Ryan Shawcross (back), Marc Wilson (medial collateral ligament) and Charlie Adam (calf muscle).
