AC Milan forward M'Baye Niang has allayed fears over his well-being after he was involved in car accident on Saturday night.
The 21-year-old was on his way to a bowling alley after dining out with friends when the incident occurred in Legnano, where the vehicle left the road.
Reports in the Italian media suggested that Niang could be ruled out for approximately two months after a statement from the Rossoneri revealed he had "sustained a capsular ligament injury in his left ankle and a bruised left shoulder".
But the Frenchman, who was excluded from Sinisa Mihajlovic's matchday squad for the Coppa Italia tie against Alessandria on Tuesday, confirmed on Monday that both he and the driver escaped any serious injuries.
"Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform you that my driver and I are in good health," Niang wrote on Twitter.
"The car went into aquaplaning, it was scarier than it was painful. [I'm] ready for the end of the season with Milan #ForzaMilan."
Niang has started the last eight league games for Milan, scoring in three successive games recently, after missing the start of the season with a fractured toe.
