Atletico Madrid are currently in negotiations with striker Antoine Griezmann over increasing the release clause in his contract.
Griezmann has been in outstanding form for Atletico this season, netting 19 goals across all competitions.
His impressive display have caught the eye of top several clubs across Europe, who are said to be lining up bids for the French international.
The 24-year-old joined Atletico from Real Sociedad for 30 million euro in 2014 and has gone on to score 44 goals in 88 appearances for the La Liga club and Atletico are set to increase Griezmann’s exit clause from 80 million to 100 million euro.
“We are in talks,” Griezmann told El Larguero. “More with my representative than me.
“I am dedicated to playing at the moment, but both parties are doing well.”
Rojiblancos, who are sitting at second in La Liga, travel across town to face rivals Real Madrid on Saturday in what could prove to be a do-or-die fixture in their title race.
Commenting on the Madrid derby at Santiago Bernabeu, Griezmann added: “Man, if not, we won’t go out onto the pitch.
“I am confident in my team-mates and the work of the coach. We have a great group, great players and a great coaching group. We’ll do well.”
