Hamburger SV head coach Bruno Labbadia is well aware of the threat this weekend's opponents FC Ingolstadt pose on the break and is confident his side will be prepared.
HSV ran out 1-0 winners in the reverse fixture in September last year in a closely-contested affair and Ingolstadt would've felt aggrieved not to have taken at least a point from the match.
Labbadia stressed the importance of focusing preparation exclusively on the opponents directly in front of you and not getting distracted by past results.
"It is crucial to focus on our opponents during preparation. Ingolstadt are a completely different side to the likes of say Frankfurt or before them Gladbach who we recently played," he said in the pre-match press conference.
"I expect a battle similar to the first time we met earlier in the season. Ingolstadt don't concede many goals and are very dangerous on the break and from set-pieces from which the majority of their goals have been scored. We are well prepared and always practice defending set pieces in training anyway.
"On the whole we have to play the way we did in our first meeting, by meeting the challenge with our running ability while bringing our individual quality to the game as well. It will be important to bring a level of calm to the proceedings."
