Antoine Griezmann expressed his frustration after Atletico Madrid failed to find the back of the net for the second successive game with their 0-0 draw against PSV in the UEFA Champions League.
The Rojiblancos dominated large spells of the clash at the Philips Stadion on Wednesday, but they were unable to break the deadlock despite parking in the opposition half as Diego Godin saw a goal disallowed, while both Griezmann and Luciano Vietto missed guilt-edged chances.
The France international admits the Dutch champions made things difficult for Diego Simeone's side following the dismissal of Gaston Pereiro on 68 minutes as the hosts then defended in numbers, but he's confident Atletico will get the desired result in their last-16 second leg at the Vicente Calderon.
"It's annoying to just draw when you want to win," Griezmann told UEFA. "It wasn't easy; it was a difficult game.
"We worked hard at the back and then the chance I got was a shame. I didn't get my body shape quite right and the goalkeeper did well. But it doesn't matter. I'm still full of confidence.
"When they went down to 10 players, it was perhaps more difficult because they closed shop at the back.
"It's not so bad. We're at home next time and it's a boost. At home we're comfortable with our fans who push us on in all we do and I'm sure we'll do well."
