Roma have been handed a injury blow with the news that Daniele De Rossi has been ruled out for at least a month with a calf injury.
The midfielder only just made his return from a similar problem against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
However, he suffered a recurrence after coming off the bench in the last 13 minutes, and Roma confirmed he will be sidelined for up to four weeks.
"For the Giallorossi midfielder, who this season has made 25 appearances and scored three goals, the estimated prognosis for a return is around four weeks," the club said in a statement.
Roma boss Luciano Spaletti is hopeful De Rossi will be back in contention for Inter's visit to the Stadio Olimpico, but the Italian is set to miss five games including the Serie A clash against Fiorentina and the return leg of the last-16 tie with Madrid.
