Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood is confident the club have the quality to bounce back from their current slump and has called for the fans' support.
Villa have made a woeful start to the current campaign, having lost seven of their first nine matches to start the new campaign and now sit just one point off the bottom of the table
Speaking ahead of the Villans' home clash with Swansea, Sherwood believes the club's supporters will play a big role if they are to turn their season around and says he is working hard to get the squad out of their transition period.
"We need the help of the fans," the former Spurs manager is quoted as saying by the Birmingham Mail. "I am very proud to be the manager of Aston Villa football club and this club is in a period of transition.
"I will give everything to the cause. I can't give any more than I am giving, We will get through it."
