Leicester City v Crystal Palace

Leicester City will be boosted by the fitness of attackers Jamie Vardy and Jeff Schlupp ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Vardy (wrist) and Schlupp (head) were both doubts after picking up knocks in the 2-2 come-from-behind draw with Southampton last weekend after participating in training this week.

With just one defeat so far this campaign, High-flying Leicester are just five points off early pace-setters Manchester City but will have to produce something close to their best form if they are to see off the equally impressive Palace.

Two players who won't feature for Claudio Ranieri's side, however, are Leonardo Ulloa (hip) and Matty James (knee) with the duo having not yet overcome their ailments.

Palace, meanwhile, have won four out of their last six match in the Premier League but suffered a 2-1 defeat to West Ham last time out.

Alan Pardew's side can leapfrog the Foxes with a win but will be without Dwight Gayle (suspended), Marouane Chamakh (hamstring) and Connor Wickham (calf), meaning Patrick Bamford and Fraizer Campbell will both be pushing for starts.

The London club will hope to emulate their feat of last season where they won both encounters with Leicester and kept clean sheets both at the KingPower Stadium and Selhurst Park.
