Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host Sunderland at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Reds are winless in their last two games in all competitions, having drawn with West Ham in the FA Cup and losing to Leicester City in the league on Tuesday.
They're currently down in eighth positition in the league standings, 11 points off fourth place and Champions League qualification.
Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho returned to full training this week from their respective hamstring strains and could be available.
Daniel Sturridge also linked up with the rest of the squad, but remains unavailable for selection, while defender Martin Skrtel (hamstring) has been ruled out for another three weeks.
Sunderland, meanwhile, are marooned down in 19th position in the Premier League standings, four points from safety.
They have won just one of their last five games in all competions, losing three and drawing one.
Manager Sam Allardyce will check on the fitness of Yann M'Vila (foot) and Jeremain Lens (groin) ahead of kick-off.
New signing Wahbi Khazri is in contention for his first start, though, while Younes Kaboul is available again after a hamstring problem.
