Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has returned to full training as he edges towards another comeback from injury.
The injury-plagued England international has not featured since December 6, but on Wednesday trained with the members of the Liverpool squad who did not start the midweek clash with Leicester.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has repeatedly said that he will not rush Sturridge back into action, with the 26-year-old needing to take part in full training for 10-12 days consecutively before he will be considered for selection.
Sturridge has made just six appearances this season, including three starts in the Premier League.
Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi (both hamstring) are expected to resume full training on Thursday, while Martin Skrtel (hamstring) could return to training next week.
