Former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will join the coaching staff of former club PSV Eindhoven next season.
The former Netherlands international first joined the Boeren as a player back in 1998, and scored 62 goals in 67 appearances before moving to England.
The 39-year-old is currently assistant manager to Netherlands boss Danny Blind, but will leave his role with the Oranje to return to the Philips Stadion and coach the PSV strikers.
“I’m really looking forward to my new job at PSV, where I’m going to help the young attackers maximise their potential,” he said.
Van Nistelrooy hung up his boots back in 2012 while playing for Malaga in La Liga, having also played for Real Madrid and Hamburger SV since leaving Old Trafford in 2006.
