Inter Milan honorary president Massimo Moratti couldn't hide his disappointment at their derby defeat to archrivals Milan but insists that they are more than capable of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Inter currently find themselves in fith position in Serie A, but are only one point behind Fiorentina, who are in third and occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
The 3-0 defeat by A.C. Milan was their second result with that scoreline in a row, after they were defeated 3-0 by Juventus on January 27.
"There are some positives, but also there are negative traits that are coming out now at Inter," Moratti told Rai Sport.
"It's normal for the fans to be unhappy, they are disappointed, I am too.
"I believe [manager Roberto] Mancini has all the skills needed for the job, he is a man who takes the job seriously.
"There's no doubt, though, that we can qualify for the Champions League." he concluded.
Inter will need to get back to winning ways when they face Chievo at San Siro on Tuesday.
