Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has returned to training 10 days after suffering a hamstring injury.
Nasri sustained the injury during his side's 5-1 win over Bournemouth on October 17 and subsequently missed City's 2-1 win over Sevilla in the Champions League last Wednesday, and their 0-0 draw with arch-rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
The Frenchman took to Instagram on Monday to confirm that he has resumed training.
"First day back in training, feels good to be running again," he wrote.
However, Nasri won't be returning to first team action yet, with City manager Manuel Pellegrini having told reporters on Friday that he believes the 28-year-old will still need a number of weeks before he is ready to to return to the fray.
"I think that Samir will be at least… well it’s difficult for him to return before the international break, so that’s 15 days more that he will be injured," Pellegrini said. "After that I hope in those 10 days he can be fit."
