Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic insists that the team's luck will change as they prepare to face his old club in the League Cup.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international is set to come up against former employers Stoke City at Britannia Stadium on Tuesday.
The Blues will be looking for an encouraging result against the Potters to help them recover from the terrible form that has them 15th in the Premier League standings after five defeats.
"It's coming from all corners at the moment so we have to cope with that," the 28-year-old told the club's official website. "Things are just not going for us at the moment.
"We came back, we showed good character and I think our performance (against West Ham) showed we are still positive and trying hard, it's just that little moments are not going our way.
"We're going to take it a game at a time – there is still a long way to go. This league is very unpredictable so we need to take care of our performances first.
"I think our performances are getting better so we just need to keep that going."
