Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has ruled out making any move for Nolito before the close of the January transfer window, but admitted other signings could be possible.
The Catalan giants have been tipped with an interest in the former Barcelona B forward, who has hit the headlines with Celta Vigo after scoring eight goals in 15 appearances in La Liga this season.
However, Bartomeu was quick to play down talk of a deal for the 29-year-old, telling Cadena Star: "In these past few days there has been so much talk about a player.
"But the club obviously can't, we have a limitation on our debt and with that we can't do anything about it."
But when asked about the possibility of other signings coming in, Bartomeu said: "You never know."
