VfL Wolfsburg defender Dante is 'very happy' with his progress at the Bundesliga club since making the switch from Bayern München, but admits there is still room for improvement.
The experienced Brazil international has made a combined 10 appearances for the Wolves in the Bundesliga and Champions League, including the 5-1 defeat to his former employers on September 22.
Dante will get the chance to banish all memories of that bitterly disappointing defeat when Wolfsburg take on the Bavarians in the DFB Pokal on Tuesday night.
Reflecting on his progress at Wolfsburg, Dante told the Bundesliga's website: "I'm very happy. Mainly because I've been able to integrate into the team so quickly.
"I settled in very quickly and was able to adapt to Dieter Hecking's style relatively easily, even though it's very different to Pep Guardiola's. But I know I can still improve."
He added: "I didn't get much playing time in the months before I left Bayern, so I needed a bit of time to find my rhythm.
"I'm on the right path now, though. As far as the team goes, we need to improve the balance between defence and attack, but I'm certain that it's getting better with every game.
"We're still lacking a bit of ruthlessness in front of goal, but that's also improving.
"When we can just play with a bit more intensity going forward, we'll be able to achieve our goals."
