France manager Didier Deschamps says he could welcome Hatem Ben Arfa back into the Fance set-up provided he continues his good form for club Nice.
Ben Arfa last featured for Les Bleus at Euro 2012 and looked to have been finished with international football following two turbulent final seasons in the Premier League with Newcastle United and Hull City.
However, following a move back to his homeland with Nice, Ben Arfa seems to have rejuvinated his career and Deschamps has opened the door to the 28-year-old for a possible return to the international stage for France's friendlies with Germany and England in November.
"I did not say no," he is quoted as saying by FouFourTwo.
"Why not? My reflection on the issue will come next week based on what he has done with Nice. There are players who are there [in the squad] and who give me satisfaction.
"To recall a new player, I have to remove one. I will not accumulate players. These are decisions that will be made with a view to the competition.
"If someone can bring something to the France team, it doesn't matter that they had a problem with me."
