Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has backed striker Diego Costa to keep scoring for the rest of the season after finding his feet in recent weeks.
The Spain international has struggled for goals this season after netting 20 in 26 appearances in his debut campaign.
He has now scored six goals in seven appearances in all competitions since Jose Mourinho’s departure and Courtois has backed his teammate to keep up his scoring form in the second half of the season.
“We knew that when he scored a few goals again he would go on and score more,” Courtois told the club’s official website.
“He’s a top striker and he will score more goals for us. The goal against Arsenal was a big one and I think he has confidence.”
