Chelsea midfielder Ramires is on the verge of joining Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning in a reported deal worth £25m.
The 28-year-old did sign a new four-year-deal at Stamford Bridge in October but does not seem to be part of interim coach Guus Hiddink’s plans for the future.
The Chinese side, which is managed by former Blues defender Dan Petrescu, will be in southern Spain this week doing pre-season training and Ramires could be joining them there, according to Brazil’s Uol news portal.
In 2015, Jiangsu had an average season finishing ninth on the league table.
The last time Ramires started for Chelsea was in December when they lost 2-1 against Leicester.
