Match Summary

Two miserly defences and limited attacking quality meant that neither team could find a way through to goal. Both keepers had plenty of work to do as the points were shared.

Full Report

Frosinone were the first to threaten goal when Leonardo Blanchard blasted over the crossbar in the fourth minute, before Gaetano Monachello tried his luck for Atalanta.

The first effort on target came from Frosinone's Daniel Ciofani, who had a dig from just outside the box that forced Marco Sportiello into a save to keep it out of the top corner, before Raman Chibsah had his effort blocked.

As the 25th minute passed Atalanta put the Frosinone goal under pressure, with Alejandro Gomez slicing wide before Jasmin Kurtic came closer, but his effort was just the wrong side of the post.

Atalanta's Gaetano Monachello forced Nicola Leali into a save with his shot that was heading into the bottom corner, and the keeper was there again to smother Gaetano Monachello's effort.

Arlind Ajeti then skied his effort over the crossbar when he met Daniel Pavlovic's cross that was whipped in from a set-piece, and squandered another opportunity not long afterwards from Matteo Ciofani's free kick.

A flurry of substitutions in the latter stages did little to help the flow of the game, and the fresh legs failed to increase the goal-mouth action.

Neither side has won in their last five Serie A matches, including four defeats for either team.
