Arsenal v Chelsea

Premier League leaders Arsenal will face a stern test of their title credentials when Chelsea visit the Emirates Stadium in a London derby on Sunday.

The Gunners are the in-form team in the league currently, having lost just one of their last eight encounters to sit at the head of the table, ahead of Leicester on goal difference.

However, Arsene Wenger’s side are winless in their last two outings following a 3-3 draw against Liverpool and a goalless stalemate with Stoke.

The Blues are undefeated under new boss Guus Hiddink, although they too are searching for their first win in three games after high-scoring draws against West Brom and Everton most recently.

The west London club are struggling to pull away from the relegation zone, however, as they sit just four points above 18th-placed Newcastle in 14th spot.

In team news, the hosts could be boosted by the return of star duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to the starting line-up.

Forward Sanchez has been sidelined since November with a hamstring injury, while midfielder Ozil sat out the Potters clash with a foot problem.

New signing Mohamed Elneny is waiting in the wings to make his bow for the north Londoners, but Francis Coquelin,  Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere remain unavailable.

The visitors could welcome back two of their influential players this weekend, with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa pushing for recalls.

Winger Hazard missed his team’s last three matches with a groin injury, while striker Costa took a knock to his shin against the Toffees.
