Sunderland have completed the signing of Senegalese striker Dame N’Doye on loan from Trabzonspor until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old, who scored five goals in 15 Premier League appearances for Hull City last season, and the Black Cats will be expecting him to help them avoid relegation this campaign.
“Dame will bring something different to our forward options,” said manager Sam Allardyce. “Having already played in the Premier League he should have no problems in hitting the ground running too, which is very important at this stage of the season.”
N’Doye will wear the number 10 shirt for the Black Cats, but work visa formalities mean he will not be available to make his debut in their next match against Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
