Celta de Vigo and Las Palmas booked their place in the quarter-finals of the 2015/16 Copa del Rey on Wednesday evening following victories over Cadiz and Eibar respectively.
Having recorded a comfortable 3-0 win in their first-leg tie away from home, Celta de Vigo ensured their smooth passage into the final eight of the Spanish cup as they clinched a 2-0 win at Estadio Municipal de Balaídos.
Former Manchester city striker John Guidetti opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 35 minutes before Dejan Drazic added his name to the scoresheet in the closing stages of the second half.
Las Palmas, meanwhile, were pushed all the way to the wire by Eibar as they clinched another 3-2 win, this time at Estadio Gran.
A David Juncà own goal put the hosts in front in the 43rd minute before two quick-fire goals from Borja Ekiza and Sergi Enrich early in the second stanza gave the visitors a glimmer of hope.
However, Las Palmas recovered from the early setback and restored their two-goal advantage, thanks to goals from Jerónimo 'Momo' Cabrera (59') and David García (83').
