PSG manager Laurent Blanc is confident Angel Di Maria will put in a good performance when he comes up against his former club Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
Di Maria struggled for large parts of the first Champions League clash between the sides at the Parc des Princes as they played out a 0-0 a fortnight ago, leaving both sides level atop group A on seven points.
The result of the second match will no doubt have a large bearing on who tops the group, and Blanc believes Di Maria will have to be at his best against his former club if they are to topple Los Blancos.
"I can tell you that Angel will start the game," Blanc said at a news conference. "I think it will be a special game for him.
"He spent a lot of time here in Madrid. He gave total satisfaction. He's an appreciated player — I think he appreciates the club too.
"He maybe needs to put in a big performance and it would be really good that he might succeed here against his former club and his former teammates."
