Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri evaded talk of a potential deal for Chelsea midfielder Oscar after watching his side beat Torino 4-0 in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
The Brazil international was linked with a move to the Juventus Stadium during the off-season and is reportedly on Juve's radar again as the January transfer window approaches.
Oscar helped the Blues claim the Premier League title last season with six goals and eight assists, but has struggled to establish himself in the starting XI this term.
But when asked about speculation that the Bianconeri are lining up a bid for the 24-year-old, Allegri replied: "The English tabloids write a lot of things.
"Juventus have an excellent squad, the club will evaluate if there's anything to be done. If we do sign anyone, he has to be worthy of Juventus.
"There's no point just signing someone for the sake of it, he has to fit into the project and be at the same level as these players."
