Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc is delighted by the dominance his side has shown in the first half of the season.
PSG claimed an emphatic 3-0 win over Caen on Saturday, their 16th in 19 Ligue 1 games to go along with three draws, to set a new record for points scored in the first half of the season.
The reigning champions look set to defend their title with ease having also opened a 19-point gap on second placed Monaco going into the winter break.
"The win is what we came here looking for. By getting it, we set a new record for the number of points in the first half of the season," he told the club's website.
"That's very good. I think Paris Saint-Germain has enjoyed an excellent 2015, both in terms of results and in terms of the football we've played.
"We have reached nearly all of our objectives. One is still missing, but I don't need to tell you which that one is. I hope we can maintain this motivation and determination, this desire and hunger to keep winning in 2016, because objectives will be very ambitious," he concluded.
