West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell is not expecting an easy game on Boxing Day, despite taking on rock-bottom Aston Villa at Villa Park.
The Hammers have been unable to win in their last seven games, losing twice during that period, but Villa have been far worse and have not won since opening day.
"It's going to be another tough game as every Premier League game is," said the 26-year-old. "We're fully aware of the quality they have, there's no easy game as some recent results have shown.
"I genuinely don't think you ever say we're guaranteed three points. Yes, Villa haven't won in ten games but it's a bonkers this season, anyone can beat anyone, particularly around Christmas."
"We got a few big wins at the start of the season which was great. The first half of the season as a whole is a positive one, the injuries haven't helped, touch wood we don't pick up any more and we'll get a few players back soon.
"We're all looking forward to the second half of the season. There's plenty of positives for us to take into 2016, we want to finish in that top half, then we have the move to the new stadium to look forward to."
