Salah: Roma can beat Real Madrid

AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah insists that his side are capable of holding their own against Real Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16.

The Giallorossi have not reached the quarter-finals since 2007-08, but will be looking for an unprecedented victory over the 2013/14 winners in the first leg at Stadio Olimpico on 17th February.

"I think we can do it," the Egypt international said. "I've always have had a dream to play against Real Madrid.

"Everybody knows Real Madrid but for us we need to do our job, we need to do our work, we need to stay focused in order to fight and play well.

"I chose Roma for many reasons. I want to win something here. I like the city. I like the club. I think I'm happy here and I like everything."
