Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has said it will be “impossible” for anyone to prise Harry Kane away this January.
The England striker scored twice against Norwich on Boxing Day to take his total in the calendar year to 27, prompting fresh links with a move to Manchester United.
However, Pochettino is adamant that his top scorer is will not be going anywhere any time soon.
"There is no price. No one can buy him," he told reporters. "He is not for sale. There is not a value because it is impossible to put a price [on him]."
Kane has rediscovered his goalscoring touch this season after a slow start, but Pochettino believes much of that is down to a budding partnership with Dele Alli, who only arrived last summer from League One MK Dons.
“I think their characteristics are very compatible. I think in the team they create a very good energy," he said. “Dele has been with us only six months but it seems like he has been here 10 years, the way he plays. And it’s fantastic the way Harry works.”
