Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, has revealed that his client will see out his footballing days at the Spanish club before retiring at the age of 40.
The three-time Ballon d'Or winner has been heavily linked with a move back to his former club Manchester United in previous years, as well as to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, but his agent has moved to disple such notions ahead of the Janaury transfer window.
"He is the best player of all time and I am sure he will play for the next four, five, six, seven years at Real Madrid," Mendes told Sky Sports.
"He will end his career there. He is happy at Los Blancos, he'll hang up his boots when he is 40."
Mendes, who is also the agent of Jose Mourinho, would not comment on the future of the former Chelsea manager.
"Right now, he [Mourinho] is in Brazil. We will see what happens when he gets back."
"He is the best manager in the world," he added.
