Moyes wants Sociedad improvement

Real Sociedad manager David Moyes insists he is 'not worried' about losing his job but has called on the squad to 'show their quality.'

Moyes' comments come after La Real's 2-0 defeat to Las Palmas on Friday night, a loss that leaves the struggling Basque outfit just three points above bottom club Levante 11 games into the season.

The club's sixth defeat of the season has seen Moyes' come under increasing pressure but the former Manchester United manager does not believe his job is under threat, though admits the squad have been below par of late.

"Coaches of all teams would be worried about this position but I am not worried," Moyes told a news conference.

"I am here to finish the season and do my work. We need to look at the long-term. I am confident in the players, they know that I support them but they need to show their quality.

"I am used to dealing with situations like this. The players and I need to do better and it is a question of everyone working together."
