Paco Alcacer and Daniel Parejo starred as Valencia powered to a 5-1 victory at Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday.
Valencia put five goals past Celta Vigo in a dominant away victory, which included braces for Paco Alcacer and Daniel Parejo.
Alcacer scored the opener on 13 minutes before Augusto Fernandez levelled the scoreline with a header shortly after.
That would be as good as it got for the hosts, however, with Parejo picking up his first of the night shortly before half-time thanks to a powerful free kick.
The visitors were dominant after the break, with Alcacer scoring his second straight away before turning provider for Parejo to bag his brace.
There was time for one more in the 79th minute when Shkodran Mustafi headed beyond the keeper to seal the emphatic win.
Valencia move up to sixth in La Liga with the win, while Celta remain in third.
Elsewhere, Deportivo La Coruna drew 1-1 at Levante to remain in eighth place on the table.
The visitors went ahead midway through the first half afer Jonas Gutierrez played in Lucas Perez, who produced a classy finish into the corner.
Levente equalised shortly after the break through Roberto Camarasa, but they remain bottom of the table despite salvaging the point.
Sergi Enrich was the hero for Eibar as they claimed a 3-1 home victory over 10-man Getafe.
Enrich opened the scoring in the 16th minute and added another just short of the half-hour mark, with Victor Rodriguez converting for the visitors inbetween those two strikes.
Damian Suarez was shown a straight red for a reckless challenge in the 60th minute, allowing Saul Berjon to step up and score Eibar's third from the spot.
The result sees Eibar move up to sixth place, while Getafe remain close to the relegation zone.
There was another red card in the match between Rayo Vallecano and Granada, but hosts Rayo still managed to win 2-1 despite finishing the game with 10 men.
The first 20 minutes of the match were highly eventful, with Javi Guerra picking up a brace inside 10 minutes before Ze Castro received two yellow cards in the space of six minutes shortly after.
That left Rayo needing to protect a two-goal lead with 10 men for the remaining 70 minutes, which they managed to do despite Granada pulling one back in the 53rd minute through Jean-Sylvain Babin.
The result leaves Granada at the bottom of the table alongside Levante, while Rayo Vallecano move into 10th place.
Malaga's relegation worries increased following a 1-0 defeat to Real Betis in the day's late game.
Javi Gracia's side sit in 17th position on the La Liga standings, with only goal difference keeping them out of the bottom three.
Malaga had a number of chances in the first half, but could not find the back of the net, and the home side would pay for their wastefulness when Ruben Castro opened the scoring in the 64th minute.
The Spaniard was on hand to slot home a Francisco Varela through ball after Malaga had put themselves under pressure after a poor clearance from keeper Carlos Kameni.
