Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat when they host West Brom at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds had beaten Manchester City and Swansea City before slumping to a surprise 2-0 loss against struggling Newcastle United last weekend.
They never provided much of a response in an icy goalless draw against FC Sion on Thursday, but should give an improved showing in front of the Anfield faithful.
West Brom have done well with a tricky string of fixtures by beating Arsenal before holding both West Ham and Spurs to 1-1 draws in recent weeks.
They will be looking to continue that trend of being tough to break down and do better than the 2-1 defeat in the corresponding fixture last season.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp will be waiting on the fitness of young winger Jordon Ibe, who is a slight doubt on account of illness.
The German boss will also have to make do without Daniel Sturridge (hamstring) and Mamadou Sakho (knee), in addition to his long-term injury victims.
There are only two injury absentees for the Baggies, with midfielder Stephane Sessegnon (hamstring) still a couple of weeks away from a return, while goalkeeper Ben Foster is still on the mend from his nasty anterior cruciate ligament injury.
