Olympique de Marseille manager Michel was pleased with his side's collective effort in their 4-2 win over Slovan Liberec in the Europa League on Thursday.
Goals from Michy Batshuayi, Georges-Kévin N'Koudou, Abdelaziz Barrada, and Lucas Ocampos saw OM leave Stadion u Nisy with all three points and progress to the knockout rounds.
"We played a very good game, we only struggled near the end,” Michel said. “The result was well deserved. I'm very happy, and this bodes well for the future.
"This win is for the players. It's a reward for all of the work they've been doing for several weeks. We're going through a great period, the best one since I've been with Marseille. They all played together, like a team. They played very well.
"For me, Barrada is a great gift. He can play several positions. He's a very special player and he helps the team a lot. He was a little injured when he played tonight but his performance was fantastic. He played a very good game.
"We're making our way in the Europa League. We'll see where that takes us in the championship and the European Cup. We're solid and the possibilities for the future are fantastic.
"We're taking risks by lining up the same players on the field, sometimes we win and it's the best way to prevent fatigue. For us, the best thing is to win the games.
"Before the game, the goal was to qualify. Now that that's done I'm happy. As for the drawing, we'll see. Whoever our rival is in the next round, they'll be a worthy opponent."
